Pag-install

1. Open Linya.apk on your phone.

   Copy it over by USB, Messenger, or Google Drive — whatever gets the file onto the phone.

2. Tap it. Android will ask for permission to install from this source.

   Turn on Install unknown apps for whichever app you opened the file from, then go back.

3. Tap Install, then Open.

Your first recording

1. Tap + at the bottom right.

2. Type a title, then paste or type your script.

   The card under the script tells you how many words it is and how long it will take to say out loud.

3. Tap Simulan (Start).

   You get a 3-second countdown, then the script starts moving.

4. Prop the phone up, look just above the text, and talk.

   Record with your normal camera app, or a second phone — Linya handles the reading, not the filming.

5. Too fast or too slow? Press the volume buttons while it scrolls.

A script is not just text — it is a performance. Linya understands two marks you can put anywhere in your writing.

Under every script are three numbers: words, duration, and wpm — how many words per minute you speak. 150 wpm is a normal, relaxed pace.

Pick a Target — 30 seconds for an ad, 60 for TikTok, 90 for Reels — and Linya tells you straight out whether you fit, and exactly how many words to cut if you don't.

Sliders

Mga slider

• Bilis — words per minute, 60 to 320.
• Laki ng text — bigger text if the phone sits far away. Changing it never changes your timing.
• Espasyo ng linya — more air between lines is easier to track with your eyes.
• Margin — narrows the text column so your eyes sweep less on each line.

Switches

• Mirror and Baligtad — for beam-splitter glass and ceiling-mounted rigs. Leave both off for normal phone use.
• Karaoke — dims every line except the one you are on. Try it if the moving wall of text makes you dizzy.
• Focus line — the orange line and arrows marking eye level. Turn it off once you no longer need it.

• Mirror at Baligtad — para sa beam-splitter glass at nakasabit na rig. Patayin mo pareho sa normal na paggamit.

Colors

Mga kulay

Five presets. Classic white-on-black is the safest. Amber is gentler on the eyes at night. Paper — black on white — is the one to use outdoors in bright sun.

Limang preset. Ang Classic na puti sa itim ang pinaka-ligtas. Ang Amber ay mas malambot sa mata sa gabi. Ang Paper — itim sa puti — ang gamitin mo kapag nasa labas at maliwanag ang araw.

Paste your rough notes, tap Ayusin ng AI, and Claude turns them into something you can read out loud — with the breath marks and emphasis already placed for you. It keeps your Taglish as Taglish, and it will not invent a price, a claim, or a detail you did not write.

I-paste ang magulo mong notes, i-tap ang Ayusin ng AI, at gagawin itong madaling basahin nang malakas ni Claude — nakalagay na ang mga paghinga at diin. Pinapanatili nitong Taglish ang Taglish mo, at hindi ito mag-iimbento ng presyo, claim, o detalyeng hindi mo isinulat.

The result comes back as a preview with the old and new word count and duration side by side. From there you can use it, save it as a separate script so you can compare both on camera, or throw it away and keep what you wrote. Your original is never overwritten behind your back.

Live mode — the floating script

This is the part no iPhone teleprompter can do. Linya can lift your script out of the app and float it on top of whatever you are running — Facebook Live, TikTok Live, your camera. You keep selling; the script keeps scrolling above it.

Ito ang hindi kayang gawin ng kahit anong teleprompter sa iPhone. Kayang iangat ng Linya ang script mo palabas ng app at ilutang ito sa ibabaw ng kahit anong ginagamit mo — Facebook Live, TikTok Live, o camera. Tuloy ka lang sa pagbebenta; tuloy lang sa paggalaw ang script sa itaas.

1. Open a script, tap Simulan, then ⚙ Ayusin.

2. Tap Live mode at the bottom of the panel.

   You can also press and hold any script in the list and pick Live mode from there.

3. The first time only: Android opens a settings page. Find Linya and turn on Allow display over other apps, then press back.

4. Linya steps aside on its own. Open Facebook or TikTok — the script is already floating there.

Mga take at ang filler word coach

Turn on Bilangin ang mga pansalit in Settings and every run-through in the prompter is measured. When the script ends, Linya tells you how long you took, how fast you actually spoke, and how many times you said “ah”, “eh”, or “parang”.

This is the number worth caring about. If the take says you spoke at 132 wpm while the script was set to 150, you were chasing the text the whole time — and that is exactly why the reading felt rushed. Tap the button in the result to make your measured pace the new default, and every duration estimate in the app becomes accurate for you.

The word list is yours to edit

The default list mixes pure hesitations (ah, eh, uhm) with the usual Taglish crutches (parang, ano, actually). But parang and ano are also perfectly real words — if you use them properly and the count annoys you, delete them from the list in Settings. It is a comma-separated line; add whatever you personally overuse.

Ang default na listahan ay halo ng mga tunog ng pag-aalangan (ah, eh, uhm) at ng mga karaniwang pansalit sa Taglish (parang, ano, actually). Press and hold any script and pick 📊 Mga take. Every run is listed with its duration, real pace, how much of the script you got through, and its filler count. Rate each one 👍 🤔 👎 and the best is marked for you. This is how you find out whether take four was actually better than take one, instead of guessing.

Letting the script follow your voice

Normally the script moves at a fixed speed and you keep up with it. Turn on 🎤 Sundan ang boses ko in the Ayusin panel and it works the other way round: Linya listens to what you are saying, finds that spot in your script, and moves the text to match. Pause to think and the script waits. Speed up and it speeds up with you.

Set the language in Settings → Wika ng boses. Filipino / Taglish is the default and is the one to use if you mix English into your Tagalog, which is what most people actually do on camera.

Recording inside Linya

You no longer need a second phone. Linya can open its own camera with the script scrolling right over the viewfinder, and save a normal MP4 straight to your gallery.

Press and hold any script for its menu: play, edit, duplicate, move to a folder, or delete. Duplicating is how you test two versions of an opening line against each other.

The search box at the top looks inside the scripts too, not just the titles — so you can find a line you half-remember.

Getting it to look natural

Para natural ang dating

• Put the camera as close to the text as you can. The further your eyes are from the lens, the more obvious the reading. A phone stand right behind your camera phone is the cheapest fix.
• Write the way you talk. Read the script out loud once before recording. Anything you stumble on, rewrite — that is a sentence you would never actually say.
• Slow down more than feels right. Almost everyone sets the speed too fast on their first try. 130–140 wpm sounds calm and confident on camera.
• Use // generously. The pauses are what make it sound like thinking instead of reading.
• Keep hooks short. Your first line should be under 15 words. Use the duration number — if the opening takes more than 4 seconds, it is too long for TikTok.

• Ilapit mo ang camera sa text hangga't kaya. Kapag malayo ang mata mo sa lens, halatang nagbabasa ka. Ang pinakamurang solusyon: phone stand sa likod mismo ng camera phone mo.
